How do we ensure your anonymity?
All writers (and our team members) sign NDAs restricting them from outing anyone using our services.
On top of that, we don’t tell our writers who our clients are, and clients know our writers only by a first name.
We also encourage all our clients to refer to their projects by a codename so that it isn’t obvious to anyone working on the project what the published series could be when you do release it.
Do you need to worry about ghostwriters delivering plagiarized work?
Since you’re delivering the outlines for your unique story, there isn’t a way for a ghostwriter to save themselves time by finding something that is already written to pass off as their own.
They also sign contracts to ensure hefty penalties if they’re ever caught ever submitting anything that isn’t their own, original work.
How are we handling the use of generative AI?
By its very nature, generative AI outputs are pedestrian and mediocre. While the stylistic ability of these models may improve with time, right now the capability is still sub-par and these AI generated output never makes the cut – and believe us, we see our share of such samples in the initial screening stages. If you’re reviewing the segments as they are delivered it will be easy to spot as a massive drop in quality.
Given the Amazon requirement to declare AI generated content on upload, this is an important point for us to tackle with the writers. All our writers are required by their contracts to never turn in any work with even a segment of AI generated output. The discovery of such an event would result in instant dismissal. For clients who are at all concerned and who would like to cover themselves further, we can arrange for their writer to certify at the beginning or end of each book that the work turned in is entirely AI-free. Just mention this to your project manager and we can implement this extra safe-guard for you.
